Job Tracker Spreadsheet
A simple spreadsheet to keep every graduate job application in one place — track roles, deadlines, interviews and outcomes so nothing slips through the cracks.
What's inside
The workbook has two tabs to keep your search organised:
- Applications — a table with ready-made columns for company, role, salary, status and follow-up dates. A colour-coded status dropdown lets you see progress at a glance: applied, screening, interview, offer, rejected or withdrawn.
- Summary— a small dashboard that counts how many applications are at each stage and how many offers you've had, so you always know where you stand.

How to use it
- Add a row for every role you apply to — even the quick ones. Future-you will thank you.
- Update the Status dropdown as things move along.
- Use the Follow-up Date to nudge yourself when a recruiter goes quiet.
- Glance at the Summary tab weekly to spot patterns — are you getting interviews but no offers?
Tips for staying on top of it
- Keep it open in a browser tab during your search — a two-minute log beats a foggy memory.
- Don't delete rejected rows; they're useful for spotting what works.
- Pair it with our CV template, interview prep workbook and competency questions bank.
