How to use it
- Start with the role — understand the company before you write a word.
- Draft your pitch; you'll use a version of it in nearly every interview.
- Fill the competency table using STAR: Situation, Task, Action, Result.
- Prepare 2–3 questions to ask them — it shows genuine interest.
- After each interview, fill the log so the next one is sharper.
Tips
- Practise answers aloud; they sound different spoken.
- Use “I”, not “we”, so your contribution is clear.
- Pair with our CV template, cover letter starter and competency questions bank.
