ARC Ratings is an international credit rating agency headquartered in Lisbon, founded in 1988 (originally as Companhia Portuguesa de Rating) and operating globally with offices in London, Johannesburg, Lagos, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, Nairobi, Paris, and São Paulo. ARC Ratings provides an alternative to the Big Three agencies (S&P, Moody’s, and Fitch) and is registered with both the European Securities and Markets Authority and the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
